Welcome to our first grade classroom! I have a vibrant, happy group of 22 six and seven year olds who LOVE to learn! First grade is a year of huge transitions, and the students in my class grow leaps and bounds in this very important year! I strive to create educational opportunities for them that are full of rigor but are also fun and exciting opportunities to explore new learning concepts. Creating a learning environment that is happy, fun, and where children feel safe is of utmost importance to me. The children work hard every day to become readers, writers, mathematicians, and scientists all while exploring what it means to be a great friend and citizen.
