I am a Kindergarten teacher to 25 wonderful 5 and 6 year old students! Many of my students have a hard time doing any activity that requires them to sit still for any longer than five minutes. They love participating in activities that let them get up and move and engage with their peers. Each student possesses a unique quality and helps the class have a climate all its own. Our school is composed of low income families, many of which receive free and reduced lunch and receive clothes through other programs. The school is in a transitional period with many teachers moving away from traditional worksheets and packets to more engaging and student centered activities.
