Welcome to our Thinking Classroom! John Hopkins MS is a Title 1 school in St. Petersburg Florida that houses both magnet and traditional education programs for students. We have a Center for Gifted Studies, a Performing Arts magnet, and a Center for Journalism and Multimedia.
I currently teach Algebra 1 to students from across all traditional and magnet programs.
This year's classroom experience is driven by research-based methods and strategies and will give students a collaborative experience to THINK their way through math. We will also be developing our interpersonal skills as we learn HOW we learn best, and how to think about and process WHAT we are learning using collaborative structures, writing, reading, organization skills, and inquiry.
Thank you for taking the time to read about our adventure this year and considering a donation to support student learning.
