I teach in an ICT classroom setting at an inner city school. Our class is very diverse ethnically, religiously, and economically. Our daily grind consists of challenging ourselves to be the best we can be. Our classroom is a space where mistakes are celebrated, as they are opportunities for growth. We work to provide social, emotional, and academic stimuli that engage students of diverse learning preferences.
With 25 personalities, there is a lot to consider as we strive to foster student growth. My co-teacher and I ensure that we always provide lessons that are both hands-on and interactive. Thus, we have activities that allow our students to be engaged and delve into their newly found interests .
Sometimes, we just need the boost to help us see our potential!
