For this project, I chose the Counting to One Hundred rug which is available at Teachers' School Supply. This rug will make a great addition to our classroom. It will teach my second graders to count to one hundred, skip count, add, subtract, and multiply through movement. It will also serve as a place for students to sit comfortably during whole group presentations and during videos/movies.
My students learn best through active participation. I've put a lot of love into my classroom at my expense. I'm looking to put more love into my classroom because I want my room to be a place that inspires my students to be their very best.
