Eighty-six percent of our students are performing below grade level. Tablets provide an opportunity to prescribe individual learning task that meet the needs of each students. Tablets can also be used for small group instruction. Instead of textbooks and composition books, students can use tablets to access stories and write important information in electronic notebooks that can be saved and referred back to later. We currently use the Lexia Core5 program in our school. Research shows that student literacy skills improve 19% when using tablets for navigation through this program. These tablets will enhance opportunities for academic success for our students. Help us make a difference.
