Flexible seating invites students to be collaborative, creative, self-directed learners. Our classroom will benefit from having flexible seating by creating a student centered setting where students are able to take control of their own learning environment.
Students are able to self-select their seats. This allows for responsibility on each student to make the right choice on which seating works best for their learning. This space creates a sense of community for the class, and these spaces are seen as ours and not so much as mine. In this community we build we create great relationships that makes learning fun, and creates a classroom into a place where students want to be!
