I work in a school in California that is mostly low income. Our school is a K-5 medical magnet school. We are 88% Hispanic. The first few years we received grants to help with teaching of science. We no longer have those grants to help purchase materials. I want to continue making learning fun and exciting. Most schools in our district focus on math and language arts. I believe my students can use science to help increase learning in math and language arts.
