Materials such as velcro, felt paper, and laminating sheets are deeply crucial to my students' communication and visual learning needs. My students learn primarily through visuals. Everything is laminated with velcro adhesive to felt boards so that it can become an interactive form of communication and concept learning for my students who are primarily nonverbal and visual learners. We also are in need of wipes and other hygiene materials as many of my students are in the process of learning different daily living skills. We also need some art supplies like dot markers that are best suited for some of students' developing fine motor skills as well as some basic toy storage units for better organization and a less overstimulating environment for their sensory needs. Our school is low on these essential supplies that my students absolutely need to learn and gain more independence in their daily lives!
