These materials will be used to enhance my preschool speech therapy students' language learning. The items on my list will provide my students with multisensory experiences and help me tie their communication therapy activities to their monthly classroom themes. My special education speech students have a vast range of abilities ranging from mild to severe, and many have significant medical conditions. Giving them access to different types of hands-on activities helps make their language learning more meaningful and helps keep them engaged. Some of these materials will be used for the students to create pages in a blank workbook related to each month's theme that they can take home to show their parents what they have been learning in Speech. They will learn vocabulary related to things they like and some students will be able to learn to use full sentences to describe things they like and don't like.
