Being able to get a class set of the novel "Wonder" will allow my students to read, write, discuss and improve upon their literacy strategies with a book that touches upon acceptance of others' differences, which is very important to teach our youth today. Wonder is a book that opens up the world of what it means to be different, and how others percieve these differences in order to allow us to realize how we treat others and how it affects them.
This book will open up a whole new world to my students and touch upon each one in some way, teaching them lifelong lessons along the way. It will teach them acceptance, honor, kindness and sympathy while also helping them build upon their literacy skills. This novel is one that I am very excited to share with my students this year.
