School systems are always looking to be cutting edge. Students in elementary school learn faster when given creative tasks, not to mention the resources to help cement the knowledge in their minds. Through project based learning, my students will be able to express their feelings by connecting real world topics that they have researched.
These laptops would allow my students to produce products that showcase and foster life-long learning. Having the students share their work publicly and for them to see their work online would be better than a gold star that is posted in the room.
Exposing students to technology earlier will not only make them more proficient in school but it will help to promote the skills needed in their future college and or professional careers.
