I am currently a forth grade teacher at the Locke School. Many of my students come from low income homes, barely being able to afford basic school supplies. Some don't have any at all. Despite my students lack of basic needs, they still come to school with a smile on their face every day. School is their second home, which they look forward to attending everyday. Many of my students even ask if they can come to school on the weekends.
