For 19 years, students in my classroom observed tadpoles, frogs, crayfish, Triops, ladybugs, and worms. We made fake snow, planted seeds, made bubbles to bounce, and observed the smelly life cycle of real pumpkins. I was given the opportunity to be an elementary STEM teacher, so I changed districts. My school is a Title I school, which means we have many low-income families. Our entire school is served free breakfast and lunch. There are families classified as homeless, families that are English Language Learners with many speaking no English, parents raising children that they have taken into their homes, as well as other conditions that make funding school supplies difficult. With your support, you will make a difference in the lives of these children. Every dollar donated shows them that people care about their education and makes a lasting impact!
