Our goal is to provide students interested in international studies with cross-curricular opportunities devoted to enriching their knowledge of the correlations between culture, literature, language, religion, history, and government. This program offers students an organized enrollment plan that pursues a deeper understanding of the world around them, and how they contribute to global citizenship.
Books transport us, and a well-stocked, easily accessed classroom library is elemental to our success. Each semester students will complete a book study alternating between fiction and non-fiction, attend guest speaker events, and participate/attend community events. Our classroom library will give students access to curated texts based on the themes of our program; books will be checked out to students for both in-home and school use. To culminate, scholars will complete a capstone project at the end of their senior year.
