So many tuba players, so little supply! My students learn on traditional concert band instruments. Often students choose the trumpet or the drums or the saxophone but for the past few years, my students are showing interest in the more unique and interesting band instruments. The DESIRE to play the TUBA is GROWING and I could not be more happy, excited and proud!! Now I need to find opportunities to get more of those instruments, like the tuba, in my band classroom.
My goal is to enhance our instrument inventory with a beautiful new B flat tuba to help our young, excited musicians learn and grow. The sound of the tuba will add a wonderful color to the art we are making in the band classroom. The opportunity to learn on a more unique instrument can help my students earn more college scholarships, have more opportunities to perform in future groups, and make help our band perform at its best!
