Hello! My classroom is full of 15 preschoolers who all live in Lindenwold, NJ. The majority of my students (and their families) are learning English as their second language and even more so, about a third of my students have a language development delay - they are either very limited in their verbal skills or they do not yet speak at all. There are also students who have already experienced significant trauma in their short lifetime such as homelessness, death, violence, and neglect. I try very hard to make sure my students are set up for success as much as possible while in my classroom. I am amazed and inspired daily by the enthusiasm and joy my students bring to our classroom and I want to provide whatever is needed to help them learn to be the best humans possible. My goal as their teacher is to get the entire group of learners to be actively engaged as much as possible and loving school.
