I chose lock boxes, combinations, and tablets to assist my students in learning "outside the box". With these supplies, I will be creating escape room learning activities.
Students will be involved in reading and math as they read clues, use the tablets to access QR codes, and discover the hidden numbers to unlock the combinations. This will allow for exciting learning to occur all throughout the year.
Students will have to work together and this fosters a family learning community where everyone has a role. This will give an opportunity for students to work independently with each other, which is our goal in third grade.
