The majority of my students face poverty. It might be situational, emotional or generational. All my students have a big heart and a willingness to learn. I love to not only teach them the basics (math, reading, language arts, etc.) but I also love to teach them things that are happening in the world that they may not get anywhere else. Our out-of-date materials make it hard for me to have the right resources to teach them things about our current world.
