I teach 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade gifted and talented students at a foreign language immersion magnet elementary school. I serve over 100 students through our district pull-out gifted program. Students meet with me each week, 200 minutes for 4th and 5th graders and 125 minutes for 3rd graders. We expand our creative thinking skills, learn to evaluate, analyze, synthesize, research, and apply our learning to new real-life situations through specially designed project and problem-based curricula to meet the unique needs of gifted learners. My goal is to help my gifted learners reach their full potential and become 21st century learners through creativity, collaboration, and communication with their peers.
