My students attend a school that has two thirds very low income population. They attend a Title I school. All of them have special needs and require visuals to help with self regulation for behaviors, tasks, and schedules.
These materials will enable me to help my students organize their world with more visuals and hands on technology. My students often need multiple exposures to concepts and these materials will be helpful because they are tactile. Students have goals and objectives they are working on and these materials will help them achieve mastery .
My students will gain confidence in their behavior, self direction, and social emotional goals with the help of literacy technology. My class needs a literacy program that incorporates technology on our interactive promethean board. This will promote literacy for all students, encourage cooperative group behaviors, and increase word recognition and fluency.
