All my students want is the chance for their voice to be heard. This can be accomplished through the works of literature that I want to teach this year.
When a student can relate to characters of a story they have the opportunity to make text to life connections which results in meaningful class conversations and engagement.
Due to the current health state of the world we are living in and the budget cuts teachers are facing, I am not going to impose any more stress on our parents. Instead, I am wholeheartedly asking for these essential donations for my classroom. Basic supplies of paper and binders to help motivate my students inside my English classroom.
Most importantly, I strongly believe that nothing will ever replace teacher interaction and my students emotionally and socially need that. With the air purifier, I want to guarantee my students a safe and clean air space where they can learn, grow, and thrive without worrying about getting sick.
