I would like to provide an opportunity for students to move while they learn. Each student has their own needs and their own way of learning. Our class collaborates on multiple tasks in our classroom. This is where the option of having flexible seating will provide an opportunity for students to find space in the room to work together. As we implement the flexible seating option, this will allow the students to work independently in their own space and focus on their task.
I would love to create an environment that is both comfortable and functional to help my students achieve optimal success!
My overall goal is to create a space that invites all students to learn by choosing what type of seating arrangement works best for each individual.
When students are allowed to move, allowed to choose where and how they want to learn, they are empowered to face their task head on. This increases overall classroom engagement and achievement. I cannot wait to implement these seating arrangements into our classroom!
