Our small school size allows students to have more individual attention, facilitates ongoing student assessment, allows each child to be known and feel a part of the school community. In essence, it brings back the small neighborhood school. Our school neighborhood is an established and densely populated one, filled with families, neighborhood businesses, etc. It is ideal for creating the kind of school we envision. Our developmental curriculum acknowledges that young children learn at different rates. Our curriculum in not driven by the need to finish the chapter, but rather to insure mastery of the basic skills. It acknowledges and facilitates both the child ready for enrichment and the child needing additional time and help to master the foundation skills. We strive to guide students to become respectful citizens, successful problem solvers, and life long learners who value themselves and others.
