Who are my students? They are 12 of the most colorful bunch of teenagers I have met. We are a Special Needs class of 6th & 7th grade students in Brooklyn, NY. Our class has a mix of limitations but the one common thread among them is that they all are very hands on learners with the ability to achieve success!
We are in a Middle School in NY, that struggles sometimes for basic necessities and having the opportunity to use a dictionaries when needed or having basic supplies like pencils, pens, folders and paper will aid in their success. Books that are closer to their reading levels and of interest will boost confidence in themselves.
Please help us reach the success that we are dreaming of with the supplies needed to get there.
