The supplies I am requesting for my students are to make my classroom a place where we choose to learn and work in seats that adapt to our needs. At home, students do not work on a specific place most of the time. They may take their books and read on the couch, outside in their backyards, or in their bedrooms. Every day in our classroom, my students have the chance to work independently or in small groups in each subject. During this time, they are free to choose where to sit and work.
By donating to this project you will help my students to have more opportunities to stay motivated and focused on their work rather than focusing on having the special gadget. Currently, we have four pillows and one yoga ball in our classroom. My students love to have a pillow to sit on the floor and excitedly wait for their turn to read so they can have the pillows. Those who choose to behave better have can be rewarded by sitting on the yoga ball.
