Providing these Fire HD tablets as tools to access the Dash and Dot robots will give my kids with the opportunity to experience hands on learning at the 21st century level. I truly believe that coding is the language of the future. Our kids and their families know and understand the value of being bilingual since they're in our Dual Immersion Spanish program. So, giving them the gift of learning a digital language will enhance their opportunity to expand their understanding of languages, math, technology, innovation, imagination, exploration, and so on.
Dash and Dot and the Fire HD tablets needed to program them will be a game changer for these students as most of them are kinesthetic learners and the traditional "lecture" lessons are just not for them. They will get a lot out of being able to work in small groups where they will problem solve and create using these kid friendly robots and kid friendly tablets.
