My students are third graders who have some learning disabilities. It can be very difficult for them to stay seated throughout the day doing lessons. About three years ago, I was able to order twelve Marvel Focus Desks, which raise and lower so the students can work standing or sitting. That year, I also had third to fifth grades, with students of varying heights. These desks were perfect for all my children.
The reason I ordered only twelve desks that year was because my class was a "Multiply-Handicapped" class with a maximum of twelve students. When my class was renamed a "Learning-Disabled" class, my new maximum became 16 students. I have tried ordering four new desks for the past two years, but there hasn't been money in the budget to purchase them.
I currently have fifteen students, which is close to my maximum, and I do not have the extra desks for them. My students ages range from eight through ten, and their heights vary widely. My request is for four new Marvel Focus Desks. This is the Marvel website: www.marvelfocusdesk.com. Thank you for considering my request.
