Students will receive their own water bottle to keep themselves hydrated throughout the school day. This is important to help them focus on school work, and it will keep them healthy as well as engaged in lessons. Additionally, my students are often hungry during the day, and I like to keep my cupboards stocked with snacks that will help them get back on track when hunger distracts them. These snacks are crucial to allowing all students the resources they need to feel safe and ready to learn in the classroom. This project will attend to students' immediate needs so that they can engage in academic content while feeling energized. Students cannot learn until their basic needs are met, and that includes hunger and thirst. Help me care for my students in the ways that will benefit them the most!
