For my first year of teaching, I would like to incorporate something very important to me in my classroom: alternative seating. I would like for my students to have the option of using a wobble chair as opposed to traditional chairs. I love the idea of students getting to decide which seating option would best meet their learning needs.
I love the fact that students will learn balance as they sit on the Wobble Chairs!
Both students with special needs and those without special needs can focus on the activity instead of the chair they are sitting on. School chairs seem to become rocking chairs and end up going backwards, causing lots of bumped heads. Wobble Chairs will reduce accidents and eliminate nagging about sitting in the chair correctly!
