As I transition back into a traditional classroom I want to rebuild my classroom library with more diversity. Each book chosen represents the diversity that is present in my classroom and will hopefully spark a love of reading.
These books will be used for silent reading time in my classroom. Previously, the texts I had featured little diversity and did not interest my students. My hope is that diversifying the books available to my students will peak my students' interest and help foster a love of reading that will last a lifetime.
