I often ask myself how I can best serve the wide range of students I serve. I help them figure out how to get their work done, write essays, get a math tutor, ask for help and try to be there to listen when they need an understanding ear. I feel that part of my job is to offer ways to help them discover what will help them to stay grounded and take care of themselves. This goes beyond reading, writing and math. By offering small units in mindfulness, yoga and general self care I hope students find some aspects that resonate and that they can then carry with them in to their lives. Helping them to have a great life!
