Our students have been with us since middle school and we have grown with them to finally form a real high school! We are very excited to serve these students from low-income communities in California. They have worked hard and sharpened their character to fulfill their dream of finally going to (and in four years graduating from) college1 Despite the challenges many of our students face, and the resources they often start with, they rely on their resilience, sharp minds, and pure work ethic to get to where they are now - with some of the highest test scores in our region (California API of 835 in 2010)! As a whole, our students make up a top school in Aspire Public Schools, which is the top-performing California school network serving low-income students. While this is great data, in person our students are tough, dedicated young adults who have banded together into a family with a true vision for themselves - "Graduate from College, YES We Can!"
