My students attend a Title I school. This means that about 90% of them receive free lunch and do not have the money to purchase books on their own. They enjoy reading, but often have trouble finding books that keep them engaged and interested. Parents of my students have asked me to find books in class sets to lend the students to ensure that they are reading both in school and at home.
