We have 17 students in a small, rural farming town in Illinois. This flood plain region is sometimes referred to as "Forgottonia," a name we are not very fond of. We struggle economically, and there are very few resources for us to use. That being said, we have amazing students! They don't think about their location; they think about learning! They come to school with smiles on their faces and don't want to leave when the day is done. They are SO eager to learn! These second graders want to do the best they can do each and every day.
