Even in quiet areas where they can look at books they need to feel comfortable. Flexible seating allows the children to sit in a way that addresses their needs. Soft cushions will allow children to sit comfortable on the floor, on hard chairs, and on the couch in the reading area. Wobble cushions will help children that have difficulty sitting still remain seated for longer periods of time.
Engineering is the way of they future, and what better place to start than in Pre K?! The Build and Design Engineering Center will expand their developing minds in ways that will get them really thinking. They will use problem solving and cooperation to plan and execute ideas and create wonderful structures. Using a variety of manipulatives children will build stronger bridges, vehicles that roll and tow, and tall sturdy buildings. They will work together to build original structures that resemble real life designs.
