Every year, I have the privilege of getting to know and teach 190 different individuals. I am a Middle School Social Studies teacher in a 90% impoverished district. My students do not have access to the resources that I would like to incorporate in my classroom. I love what I teach. However, I have found that the desire for the social studies content has decreased dramatically over the last few years. Resources and technology have become limited. There is an overall lack of concern for the content. I am looking for assistance in making my classroom the historical investigative classroom that I dream and desire it to be.
