My students are dedicated, hard-working, disciplined minds that only wish to learn and grow. My students, however, also have factors that prevent this progress. The majority of my students come from low income, poverty stricken homes where they lack the basics. They attend a school with a staff that bends over backwards to make-up for lack of material necessities and personal guidance. Our school doesn't make any excuses and our progress shows this initiative. However, there comes a time where meeting their needs becomes a challenge. To add to this piece of the puzzle, my students are special needs children with limiting factors that go beyond money and materials.
