We spend a lot of our time learning about coding and robotics. Currently, we are using Lego NXT kits that my school received in 2008 for the majority of our robotics learning and competition. Many of our kits have missing or broken pieces and the "bricks" (the computer or brain of the robot) have damaged or non-functioning screens.
For year, my students have persevered under these circumstances and they deserve robotics befitting their great, creative minds. They made the old kits work as best as possible, including figuring out how to make the screen-less bricks workable. With Lego Spike Prime kits, not only could they build awesome robots--they could do so much more! Such as building more complex vehicles and more life-like creations with much more fluid movement. My robotics teams could stand toe-to-toe with other competitors on the game field. Overall, the Lego Spike Prime kits would allow my students to grow and excel in ways I have only been able to imagine up to this point. Please support us in this endeavour to make Bishop STEAM one of the best robotics programs around!
