The Coronavirus has impacted many aspects of society, but given that the school I am a teacher at is Title I school, it has hit us even harder. A majority of our students are on free and reduced lunch. A quick google search can show you the qualifications needed to be on free and reduced lunch in Texas. You can see from the search the picture of need the school has.
This Coronavirus hardship does not have to weigh so much on the shoulders of students. Already some society aspects have kicked in to help(Spectrum has given 2 months of free internet(maybe more) and etc.). The only thing left the students need to have a fighting chance is a platform to use the free internet. Chromebooks will fill the gaps needed to ensure the students at my school are on par with those students who are fortunate. I do not need a class set, but I tallied that 3 Chromebooks will ensure everyone in my class has a platform to learn.
