I teach middle school, 11th and 12th grade students in Oklahoma City. They are largely from low-income families, but we do not qualify for federal Title 1 money because this school requires applications to be submitted based on advanced academic or visual and performing arts abilities. Most of our students intend to move on to college after graduation, but need some support to acquire the technology and basic school supplies to achieve that top level education they deserve.
