My students mainly come either from an one parent household or a two parent house where both parents are working to support them. It is a Title 1 school and many children receive free and reduced lunches. The kids that I see are usually one of many children in the family setting. Many students come to school unprepared for the day, meaning no supplies, jackets on cold days, money for lunch etc.
