All my students come from diverse backgrounds. The majority of the families, in our school, have free and reduced lunches because of their financial status. Our school has many low income families that are unable to provide their children with the extra materials that they might need to further their education. I have children on all different learning levels that I am continuously trying to modify my materials to meet all their needs.
As a new teacher I feel that I am constantly struggling to come up with the materials to differentiate my curriculum. I have bought as many materials that I could out of my own pocket and now I need help to buy more materials.
