Everyday my students move to 4-5 different classrooms for 50 minutes at a time, and for majority of that time they sit. I see them get restless as they rock on the edge of their chairs barely able to contain the energy building up inside of them. But with over 30 students in a classroom, not everyone can sprawl out on the ground or bend over to work at a table. In addition, our current chairs are heavy to put on the tables before the end of the day for our custodians. I'm hoping that these wobble chairs will be a success to give my students a safe, lightweight energy outlet.
With your generous donation, you will help to increase student attention and focus, which will ultimately support their academic achievement and social growth.
By moving their bodies while they engage in the classroom, they can release energy, stress, and promote healthy activity within the confines of a classroom.
