Woodford County High School serves a population of around 1,400 students each school year. These students are from a variety of backgrounds and cultures. During the 2018-2019 school year, I will be teaching two Digital Journalism courses, as well as one Junior English course and three Dual Credit English 100 classes. The Digital Journalism classes are comprised of students from all grades, while the English III and Dual Credit courses are made up of primarily juniors and seniors.
These students, no matter their age or background, are wonderful people. They are generally bright, interested, willing to explore, and ready to discuss. I am blessed to work with a population of young people who are accepting of others and open to new ideas and challenges.
