Our classroom has NO books! We are a group of readers at various reading levels hoping to push our abilities to the max by the end of the school year! We will do comparisons between fiction and nonfiction texts, challenge ourselves to understand our reading and use examples in fiction to enhance our own writing. Our goal for each student is to improve our reading level by one grade by the end of the year. Our access to the school library is limited, and having a class library will allow all students classroom access for group and individual literacy projects. These projects will demonstrate characterization, plot, character interaction, story elements, and student creativity.
