I teach Super Second Graders at a public elementary school. Located in a rural setting, our small school serves 600 + pre-K through fifth grade students. My students' families range from middle to lower class with 51% qualifying for free lunch and 14% qualifying for reduced-priced lunches. Most of my students are full of energy and confidence when they enter class, but it seems I have a handful of wallflowers. Engaging and involving every learner in my classroom is what I hope to accomplish with the aid of this grant!
