Every year the special education teacher and myself encourage much collaboration throughout the day in our class. In the past this has been more challenging with moving personal desks around so students can engage with a variety of students throughout the day. Your donation would help encourage their engagement and peer interaction this year by helping students stay organized as we moved to tables instead of personal desks.
I am asking for the donation of seat sacks for my class as a final step to help make this an easy transition. Your donation will help give plenty of personal storage for students' supplies. The pockets on the backs of the chairs will keep their items organized and accessible during class time. It will also limit distractions as we are learning and offer less time wasted during transitions. Students academic achievement will be increased from your donation. They will be sure to do their best as they will be organized and more engaged in peer conversations about academic content.
