Learning should be fun! At my school, my students are tired of old-school instruction. They are bored. I mostly see them work with technology only when they have media during their resource time and that technology use is limited to a green screen and the Sphero. My students should have the opportunities to be innovative so that they can show everyone that they understand and can articulate what they are learning in school. The 360 cameras will help my students be expressive, reflective, and creative learners. They will also be able to take charge or their own learning when using the cameras to produce their own products.
Having the ability to use 360 cameras in the classroom will open up new opportunities for my students' learning! These cameras will also allow my students to make their learning come alive. These cameras will be used for all subjects: math, ELA, science, and social studies. My students will be able to create virtual maps and go on virtual field trips. Since many of my students have difficulties with expressing their ideas on paper and verbally, they will be able to use the cameras to demonstrate scientific and mathematical processes that may be difficult to draw or talk about. They can also tell stories in different ways. My students will learn how to collaborate and cooperate as they work together to find and solve problems to create and edit their videos. I really believe these cameras will be beneficial for my students.
