I teach reading and science to 90 4th graders that are quite diverse. We have students with happy, stable homes, but for others our school is their safe place to find food and care. Some of them speak English and some of them are still learning. We have about 35% poverty.
We are a family at our school. The kids come first in every decision we make and an atmosphere of joy is evident everywhere you look.
